The UN World Commission on Environment and Development defines sustainable development as: “…development that meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs.” PIA desires to equip communities to be sustainable through partnership and collaboration with the goal of the community ultimately taking ownership of their transformational development.

What is the process for year-end tax filings with the IRS?The majority of our subordinates receive annual donations of $50,000 or less. If that is the case you can do a 990-N (e-Postcard) filing. Filings are due no later than May 15th for a year end of December 31st. Heather will email you during the month of April to assist you with the process and answer any questions. If your gross receipts are more than $50,000 you can choose to file your own 990 or 990EZ. A copy of the completed return should be provided for our file.
