The work of Mercy with the children of Pattaya began in 2000 as a result of our desire to help 'street children' of the city, who live most of their young lives "at risk." We care for the poorest of the poor from some of the most difficult backgrounds and behaviors imaginable.
1. Short-term intervention:
Children at risk: Provide shelter, food, clothes, medical care, practical help as needed, Christian ministry
Women with children at risk: Provide shelter, food, clothes, life skills training, medical care, and other practical help as needed, as we are able.
2. Long-term planning:
Children at risk who are unwanted or abandoned: Facilitate long-term foster care or adoption
Develop a network of organizations and individuals with similar goals and values.
